Bible Reading: – Song of Solomon 2:10-15
A virus is a tiny disease-causing agent. It harms, interferes with and sometimes destroys the progress of something else. The Bible refers us this morning to “the little foxes that spoil the vine…” These are viruses that negatively affect our Christian lives and testimonies.
When a computer system becomes infected with viruses, it begins to malfunction and the longer the viruses remain in the system, the more the damage. Today, some Christians carry viruses about with them. Viruses such as malice, un-forgiveness, envy, hate, jealously etc. will hinder progress and eventually cause damage. We are expunging them from our lives by allowing the Holy Spirit to influence us more. He is the only credible anti-virus around.
The Bible tells us that an untamed tongue is a world of evilest in the body. Though little, the tongue can set a whole forest on fire. An untamed tongue is one deadly virus. Child of God never allows anything untoward to proceed from your mouth. It could be dangerous. Let your tongue be like that of the wise that brings health
Prayer: Oh lord every form of hidden viruses that is causing damages in my life; remove them totally from my system in Jesus name.
