Reported Chelsea target Adama Traore has admitted that he would potentially be tempted by amove to Real Madrid in the future.
It has been suggested in recent days that the Spanish winger is amongst a list of the Blues’ transfer targets heading into the summer.
The likes of Jurgen Klopp and Luis Enrique have already spoken up his talents in the past amid the rumours, with reports suggesting that Liverpool could also look to make a move.
However, Traore himself has spoken on a potential transfer, admitting that a move back to his homeland might well be higher on his agenda as opposed to a switch to Stamford Bridge.
Speaking last year, the 25-year-old said: “If I do not have the option of Barca and I have to go to Real Madrid, I do not close any doors.
“There was a misunderstanding with Barca. Something happened that I didn’t like, but I prefer to keep it for myself.”
Traore originally represented Barcelona having progressed through the club’s youth academy.
He eventually made four appearances for the Catalan giants, with Aston Villa then bringing him to the Premier League in 2015.
Traore then represented Middlesbrough before a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ three years ago.
He is fresh off the back of a season in which he scored just twice and provided two assists in 37 Premier League games and has two years left on his contract at Molineux.
The 25-year-old has been named in Spain’s squad for Euro 2020 ahead of the tournament’s kick-off in ten days’ time.
