The comedy industry in Nigeria has welcomed new talent in recent years that have added something different to the game.
And of course, the ubiquity of social media now makes it easier for comedy content to be easily distributed worldwide.
At one point in their comedy career, some Nigerian comedians have attempted music either by doing a remake of one existing song or by doing a music project unique to them.

Have you ever seen Chigul Perform a song on stage before? If No, you won’t understand how musically gifted she is and of course she’s got an amazing voice.

He is very good at using the Ayinde Barrister style in making comical music for his huge fanbase on social media.

Few years ago up till this moment, this young man called Kenny Blaq is regarded as the king of music comedy in Nigeria.
Only a very talented musician can do a stand-up comedy with music infusion and get it right all the time.
He has done many superb covers of Nigerian songs and created many other comedy songs to whao fans whenever he is on stage.

5. Twyse Ereme
Twyse Ereme is a Nigerian comedian popular on YouTube and Instagram for doing funny comedy skits with only him acting different characters.
In 2019, he went from doing trash versions of blown songs to doing proper songs to the point that he released an EP where he featured Dagrin’s brother Trod on “Trippin“, a song on the EP.

6. Emma OhMaGod
Emma OhMaGod rose to fame with music comedy and he has been consistent in dishing out music comedy contents to his fans year-in-year-out.
Emma is musically gifted that he could create a drama dialogue with music delivery. This is evident in his ongoing series titled “EmmaOMG Highlife series“.
Basically, this guy called Emma OhMaGod is living a life revolving around amazing music content and if you’re not following his works on social media space you better do because he always delivers.
