TOPIC: And till another vital ingredient.
BIBLE READING: – Hebrews 6:9-20
A well prepared dish also takes some time to get it ready. As we set to enjoy the wonderful things God has in mind for us at this lockdown period, we must not forget to add this crucial ingredient. HOPE! Did you notice vs11 of our text? We are expected to show diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end.
If God is the one we are dealing with then we can count on the fact that He is faithful to His promises. Between a prayer and an answer we usually need to cross the bridge of hope, but it is certain and definite that when we hope in God we are assured of victory.
Hope is the anchor of the soul! It keeps your faith steady in the stormy seas of doubts, fear and dismay. It makes you to be resolute and unwavering. But we must remember that we must anchor on something or hope in something. Our hope must be based on God’s word. If this is so you can expect the better things of vs9, a great days lies ahead of you.
According to Romans 5:1-5 I can say this a million times and will not be tired; hope does not disappoint. It is so sure and certain that I have staked my life on the hope in the word of God. Get this right once and for all. Our confidence should be in the WORD of God which cannot fail. So if we hope in what cannot fail then we cannot fail.
Do not trust in any other but in the word of God. If you rely on His WORD, you will always see the end of your Hope! Hope produces testimony, keep hopping in God through His word and at the end you shall laugh at last.
Prayer: Oh Lord, even in a stormy time help me to trust in you through your WORD.
The Lord will help our faith and trust so as to remain hopeful. Thank you so much for the message.
