TOPIC: shinning for Jesus
BIBLE READING: – Isaiah 60:1-7
Good morning. The word of God this morning has brought a refreshing to our hearts. “Arise and shine for your light has come” verse 1, what exiting words to start a day like this. You may think that there is nothing for you to shine about. Things may not look too exciting in the natural but dearly beloved, if it was you shining in your own light, then you are right but if God is the giver of light, then you can shine no matter the circumstance of life.
The moon has no light of its own. It only reflects the rays of the sun. in the same way, just receive God’s word into your heart this morning. In spite of how you feel, how things seem around you and what circumstances are saying, just shine for Jesus. Let your life show the glory of God. Let there be a smile about that face of yours. When people ask you, tell them “Na Jesus dey make me shine!
The light in our lives is Jesus. He is the light of the world. It is a great honour and privilege to be called a child of God. Shine that light in you. Let love, mercy, goodness and Holiness of God radiate through our lives. Do not allow that light to become darkness!
Prayer: Loving Jesus, as from today let my light shine everywhere I go, to your glory in Jesus name.
