Topic: The mirror
BIBLE READING: – Hebrews 3:1-10
A mirror is what you look at and sees yourself. How would you feel if you look at a mirror, instead of you seeing yourself, it is a monster you see? You will either scream or you will want to escape from yourself. Horrific? Isn’t it?
God made us in His own image and therefore wants to see Himself in us. Imagine how disappointed God is when we reflect a different thing. Christ is God’s express image and the brightness of God’s glory as we see in verse 4 of our text.
If Jesus reflects God, we too should, as we are joint heirs with Christ and we are made in God’s image. Do we really reflect Christ? If Jesus said, “If you have seen me you have seen the father”, can we be bold to say that seeing us is seeing Christ? Some people were called Christian in the Bible because they acted like Christ.

It was at Antioch that the disciples were first called Christian (Acts 11:19-26). Their common acts and attitude was Christ like, not race, or culture or language. Are you a Christian? Can Christ be seen in you? If your answers are in the affirmative, glory to God.
If not please ask the Lord for help He is faithful, note that as Christian, Christ must be seeing in the way we talk, the way react to issues, not only that He must be seeing through our ways of life; dressing, where we go, the group we belong to. Dear readers as you are going out this morning make every effort to reflect Christ in all you do today.
Prayer: Lord Jesus as I go out today, help me not to disappoint you in Jesus name.
