Topic: Tit For Tat?”

BIBLE READING: – Galatians 6:1-10

When you do smoothing bad to someone because he/she has done something bad to you, you say “tit for tat”, or, “do me, I do you”. But this does not have to be used negatively. For instance, if you sow good, you will reap better. That is what verse 7 of our text is telling us today. If you sow badly, you reap evil, and if you good (e.g. love, grace, etc) you reap joy peace, love, more grace etc. dear reader!

God cannot be mocked. Just continue to do good {v9}, your pay day {due season} is around the corner. If you are tempted to stop doing good because you have not yet reaped, it suggest you are not for real! Well? Just keep at it then like God. Leave vengeance to God.  sow your best and reap the best.

Circumstances of life either leave us bitter or better. You can make up your mind never to be bitter in life. Just insist on being generous with your smile or hug or handshake {take not of COVID 19}.

Instead of noticing when others do you wrong. Just overcome evil with good. So, no more “tit for tat”. If you give God and people your best, you can expect God’s best too.

Meditation: Proverbs 11:25 “the generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.

Your humble servant, Pastor David A Taiwo.
