Management releases statement on why Naira Marley is still in EFCC custody

The management of Naira Marley has confirmed that sureties standing for the embattled rapper are ready, but authorities are yet to verify their address before the court would sign his release papers.
This was communicated in a statement addressing reports that Marley, real name Azeez Adeshina Fashola, is still in EFCC custody, despite being granted bail, because he has not found anyone to stand in for him as surety
It comes just hours after a so-called activist claimed in a Tweet that Naira Marley needs a level 10 civil officer to stand for him as surety in order to make bail, but unfortunately he has not been able to find one.
He went on to urge people who have family members in high positions to help get the rapper out of jail.
Reacting to the speculations, the musician’s management says “it’s not everything you hear or read you should believe.”
The statement read “Hello Nigeria let’s b smart, it’s not everything u hear or read you should believe, sureties has been ready from the day they granted him bail, but we gotta wait for efcc to go confirm the sureties address, so we still waiting for them to confirm and court still need to sign the release paper.
It added “To everyone talking rubbish your time will come. Amin.”
