There is a time to your God-given purpose. Missing that time may make you lose out on the fulfillment of your God-given purpose. Eccl 3:1 says it expressly. It is necessary every one of us to make the most of every opportunity present itself. Esther couldn’t have been in the palace at the time she was there for nothing.
It was because of the purpose of God at hand. She, upon the advice and warning of her cousin, acted fast. Promptly she said everyone should pray and fast for her for three days and she will go and appear before the king and if she perishes she perishes. We know she did not perish; rather God used her to preserve her generation.
Thank God for Philip the evangelist (Acts 8:27-35). The Spirit of God enabled him to realize that that was the time God has chosen for the purpose of evengelising the Ethiopia ennuch. Philip then acted without any delay and without any invitation.
Let us learn to give purpose its urgency; it pays. Who knows tomorrow? You have now! Now! at your disposal not tomorrow. What tomorrow carries you can’t tell act fast act now, tomorrow maybe too late. Acting fast and acting now is the key.
My dear reader, procrastination is a disease, and is dangerous; use your God’s given opportunity now.
